MICKEY GANG (BRAZIL)

I first heard these guys on BigStereo a couple of months back and was instantly drawn in by their catchy demo I Was Born In The 90's which features some sweet synths, some pretty cool foreign accents and ends up sounding like Klaxons towards the end - the remix below is also very decent. On We Are Wolves it's easier to pick up a likeness to fellow Brazilians CSS, or maybe it's just cos they use Portugese at one stage in the track! - Anyway, it's also a solid demo. In all, this is some great first up work, and shows why these guys promise to have a big future. The young lads from Brazil are unsigned...for now. But that should all change once the word gets out and they become one of hypem's most blogged (Black Kids circa late 2007). Watch this space.
